ir 105 network

I have a 105 that is a stand alone and I want to network it. the customer says they have another 105 with a main controller with a ps/pcl boot rom. My question is can I just replace the boot rom chip or do I replace the boot rom chip and upgrade the firmware?

You have to replace the boot rom, NIC card and firmware on this model. I am pretty sure that the RAM is the same, but you will be able to tell when you get into the main controller and start comparing the two.

Replce it with N bootrom and load ir105N system software is a must , add NIC card if u want networking or else connect using centronic cable to a single pc. Driver will be needed.
