Replacement HDD for iR3045

I have to replace HDD on iR3045 for E602-0001 error.
Machine has Hitachi 20G 5400rpm HDD. but I can't find new one here in Korea.
So I got Hitachi 80G 5400rpm HDD instead.
And when I use SST to format it, I got only formatting error.

Any tips or information?

but I got SST error code E190. There is no E190 on your error list.
I have "Could not get TargetInfo.txt due to the HDD problem" message in SST
and "Formatting HDD(ALL) Error" message on the machine.

Please help me!

Now I am sending another error code list. Check with that... give me ur mail id... I will send you latest version sst try that also...

I am not at the office but I think that is a new enough machine that requires a drive from Canon. Not saying I like the idea - Canon started placing some kind of data on the hard drive that is not on the exact same drive OEM drive.

I read an earlier post from someone that had taken a fresh drive from Canon and cloned it to an OEM (same model number) - and then loaded the system software. He did not post back the results but that might work.
