IRA 7055 upgraded software ver55 problem.

    Hello all

Anyone had this problem after upgrading from version 46 to 55 it will not print on SRA3 from the pod deck lite-A1. It gives a message can not use media with features selected. It will print on A3/A4. I'm just printing plain prints no duplex, booklet etc. This printer does not have a scanner.

    Cheers

are you printing from a fiery or internal print board? The fiery needs a patch when you upgrade to version 55.
Maybe try reloading your print driver to see if something there is causing the issue.
Can you run internal test pages on to that stock?
Also double check your paper type settings to see if anything has changed.

Printing from an print board. Tried changing the type of paper but no joy with that. I'll be heading back tomorrow, will update when fixed.

I just did a quick search and found nothing similar to what you are fighting...good luck.

Step back the Firmware to v46-and re-set POD for paper size SRA3

          POD Deck Lite-A1
          Settings/registration>Preferences>Paper Settings>Paper Settings> Select POD>Set size.

Did you do a "get device status" from the print driver?

It should pull the function version but you might want to check or manually set the function version for it to see the attachments.

Thanks for all your help guys..had to download back to ver 46 which fixed the fault must be something in version 55 that effects printing from the pod on heavy 4(250-300gsm), because it would print if you told the printer it was heavy 1,2,3. I'll report it, new version comming out in March which might fix it.

May be a glitch in your v55/
when I have a glitch in SST models firmware/-I open SST select delete on model and delete it/
then I go find Models Folder in Canon File Folder\SST System Software Folder\SST Files- and delete the trouble Models firmware entire folder.

I then go and get a fresh copy of Models firmware, and re-register it= works all the time
**I never automatically update Firmware , only unless the stated fixes effect my machine or it programs

                good luck on back track
