          scanner is online???? therefore you cannot copy, fax or scan using universal send!

                      Sorry. I did not see that Charm had already answered it. As I said though, I have had that issue with an account 2hrs away. Second time, same account, I did a phone fix.

                              Got caught with that one early in my Canon Career, Never again. Whenever I install a machine with a Send kit I get rid of the scan button.
