I don't know what kind of model is this but usually have canon service mode: *28*

    COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>PSW-CLR
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

It is done all the time,,, if end users want to destroy their machines by attempting something they are not trained to do, they do so at their own risk. We can't keep up a discussion in the forum if everyone is running behind the curtain all the time.

End users should identify themselves as such in their message, like Penelope, the woman from the U.K. does.

From the picture in your brochure, I believe that is one of the HP color printer engines that Canon decided to offer to the public. I do not service that box, so I have no advice to offer. Maybe someone else here will be able to assist you...

              Good luck.

                          You need the SERVICE Manual
this online e-manual link below is helpful for operations, but it is not a service manual

                          http://www.citrusdigital.co.uk/uk_iR...ual/index.html

download mode is for your firmware updates & HDD repairs
                          service mode is for viewing settings/checking logs/making adjustments >etc>etc & on & on>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
