    Imagepress C1

    What are you opinions on the Canon Imagepress C1? Is it a reliable machine and what is its life span? Would you say it requires a lot of maintenance compared to Xerox Docucolor or Konica Minolta 5501?

                  The C1 is a good machine and can last a long time when maintained properly, but it is a labor intensive unit just like the old CLC's where. I can not comment on the Xerox as I have never touched them and the KM does not hold a candle to the Canon in image quality. It also has service issues just like the C1, but is easier to work on.

                      iRC5185 is a better option for a used reliable Color Printer/ only knock is Fix Unit.

                      Stay Away/ Far Away from C1/C1+
                      **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**
