    [Misc] Ir5000 Wait full ....

Recently, machine of ir5000 when turned on loading up to full but can not enter the main menu. Then I format hard drive and install the system software.
But what happens then is in the service report before reinstall system software it's written iR5000N, now it's written iR5000 and can not print from a computer.

My question is .... How to get back it to iR5000N with printing capability? ...

what kind of iR5000 firmware should be used? ....
you should know i just have iR5000 system software that's registered in SST4.33E with 20.01 version.

    Thank You.

Sounds like you used the copier version of the software instead of the network version. Reload the BootRom and System components choosing the network version...

you should have loaded the IR5000N firmware to the machine so your boot rom gets the proper information.

There are 3 versions of system software for this copier, depending on the model of 5000 you have in your possession, make sure you have the right one!

        iR5000
        iR5000d
        iR5000i

You need to also make sure you update the BootRom first.

Kind of a little strange in that the SST should have refused to update if the unit model and firmware version does not match - at least it does to me (tried to load 5000d on 5000 once). There is a way to force it - but if you have to force something, my experience has been not the results I was expecting.

There is no established order, but a good sequence is:
                  Boot
                  System
                  Language

using the HDFormat file BEFORE performing a batch install with the ALL_HDF batch file. Otherwise, the ALL_HDF batch install will fail.

                      Go in and re-format HDD, under 5000 select HDFormatXXxxvv0017 then>when finished>

go in SST and select 5000N>then select ALL_HDF>HIGHLIGHT USenv20.01> then select Start Batch Download
this will over write all back to 5000N

ALL_HDF: The ALL_HDF is intended for use when a HDD has been formatted with HDFormat or when a new service part HDD has been installed (i.e. there is no working system installed).

your boot rom should be v14.54 N
what message are u receiving on the SST ????
is it a ERROR ? is it a time out error ? connection error ??

The 5000n firmware should be in the 5000 v20.01 Folder
                          look on your laptop under
                          >C:\Canon File Folder\SST System Software Folder\SST Files\iR5000_v20.01
open the 5000_v20.01 Folder u will see the 5000n Folder-
open SST and select Register & search for that folder to register it in SST
