Canon IR-6870U Error Message: E000079-0001 won't clear, can't find explanation in manual. Does anyone know what this code is for?

The E079 error code indicates the home position of the outside heating roller (engagement) home position sensor does not get detected. The outside heating roller (engagement) home position sensor does not go off.
The detail code 0001 indicates the home position sensor does not go on within 5 seconds after the start of the home position search.
The error code does not reset after the machine's power is turned off and on again.

Check the position of the outside heating roller home position sensor's (PS22) flag. The flag can easily be moved out of position or broken during transport.

Note: the parts manual refers to the outside heating roller home position sensor as PS66 rather than PS22. (See figure 810 page 2-156)
