Canon clc 1140 dens settings

    [Misc] Canon clc 1140 dens settings

    Hello,
    I've a canon clc 1140 and a canon 1150. I stupidly changed density setting of cyan color in copier>adjust>dens. I don't have any service label. After the change machine is throwing error code e020 0280. I changed the density same to magenta. The code went off but now prints have uneven density of cyan and on yellow color it has magenta background. The test print from fiery is also coming faded. Please send me values for dens for cyan or all colors. My clc1150 is working fine can I use values of 1150 in 1140 ? Please reply.

      You can use values from 1150.Second time use P-print.
      If it ain't broke, don't fix it

          stop playing with numbers-
          do a full developer change
          Execute STIR-Y/M/C/K
          Execute INIT-Y/M/C/K
          Execute ADJUST>DENS
          Record the data shown on the DENS
          screen on the service label.

              I agree with Teckats proposal,,, after screwing with the settings, without the safety net of a P-Print in hand,, the only true way to recover is a developer mix change, followed up by the provided steps to insure that the new parameters are properly saved,,,, THEN RUN A P_PRINT, and keep it on hand...

                  Thank you all for quick response. I used values from my clc 1150. Now machine is working fine.

                                  My hat's off to Teckat, and apologies to Sonu on the bum steer "P-Print" advice. It has been years since I had to deal with one of these CLC's. The restart with new developer mix is still solid advice though. We used to copy those charts and keep them in the service pocket for this model. I am glad you have resolved your issue!
