ir2200 printing LPT1

We inherited ImageRUNNER 2200 from the company that previously occupied the building we are now in and I want to connect to our computer via LPT1 (not network printer). Everything seem to work properly until we send print command, the machine did spool up, indicated print job processing but nothing happen there after. Does anyone know what was happening? I also did check additional functions screen and it showed Copy & Mail Box Setting only, do you think this copier has no printer function?

Canon IR2200 Spools but Won't Print

The LPT port is for uploading of firmware not for printing although it can be use for LPT 1 printing you machine must have the network printercard. Since you machine and it showed Copy & Mail Box Setting only it is just a copier

simple..

1. additional functions
2. cek (printer setting)
3. if doesn't arise.. your Ir2200 is not printer made.
