    IR Adv. 7065 JAM 0CA7

    Need help with jam 0CA7 on a Canon IR-adv 7065.

    Manual only says: READY is not received from IP. (Former:
    E240-0007)


    The E240 code in the manual only gives me the option to reboot the machine automatically when the error occurs.

    Can anyone help?
    Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

    Have you checked connectins between the DC and Main Controller ?
    Does the scan lamp illuminate or move before error appears?
    IP = Image processor not ready ?

    I would def check all connecters from scanner through to main controller
    If its new you may have damaged cables when fixing the scanner to printer
    Also remove copy glass and slide scanner half way ad see if it returns to HP (home position)

      Issue solved.

      The ITB belt had been put on the wrong way with the patch facing outwards.

      Canon SB:
      Problem :
      The jam code 0CA7 occurred after the new ITB kit was installed.
      Solution :
      After installing the ITB with the white sheet to the rear side the jam code was
      resolved.
      Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
