    Canon 3200 E747

    Can some one give me an idea with this E747 image processing ASIC or memory control/
    communication ASIC fault
    code and LCD screen loses all info at copy start LCD still has power but has no image

    What is the SUB-CODE = E747-XXXX

    Did u unplug or re-seat the DDI-S Interface cable (cable from scanner to printer body)
    while the Printer was plugged in ???

    U could-First try re-seating all the Boards,Connectors,Dimms, as well as the Boot Rom on the Main Controller

      I pulled the machine away from wall a little, then this started, i will check cable first, thank you

        do not plug cable back in while powered up
        also could be damaged

          Powered off cleaned cable ends with canned air, seems ok now, thanks

              Hi Getting this problem again, E747 00FF not all the time though,

                E747 =The image processing ASIC or the memory control/communication ASIC is faulty
                00FF= When image signal is not transferred within the specified time.
                Faulty connection in reader/printer. Faulty connector on the main controller PCB (main).

                Re-Check that interface cable & interior connections to Main Pcb
