[Error Code] Canon IR3300 E000202-0001 OOPS!

I just got this error E000202-0001 when I accidentally pulged the copier into a 220 V plug. Heard a nice pop. Unit still powers on but give the error. HELP!

How does one accidentally plug a 110 machine into a 220. Prong configuration should prevent that.

The idiot who wired this place before we took over put 110 prongs onto a 220v line. That's what happens when you get your Taxi cab driving friend to come around to do some wiring in between fairs.

Btw for the guy who's solution to everything is "call a tech" you're a douche. ;-)

Everyone with knowledge and help, you're awesome and we greatly appreciate your help. Really came through whilst working on our last machine.

Check voltage on Switching Regulator PCB at J105, pin 3, for 5 volts. If only 3.3 volts are present replace the Switching Regulator PCB

          it's probably TOAST

            Try replace R12, R13 with 4pcs 5.6ohm 5W resistor as shown on photo. Change D32, D33 also.

well a technician would pull out a meter and start to troubleshoot instead of asking for a quick fix
a technician would know inately that plugging into 220 or was it 208 but then in order to know that you'd have to have taken out a meter and a tech would start going point to point afterwards instead of looking for a quick fix and trying to figure it out
                funny
when i post a question here its because i have never seen the machine before and don't have a manual so i try all the things that i can think of before i look for a quick fix

so piss off wanker pounscy hairdresser type
                as for being a douche

Hey guys, thanks for the tips. As suggested on of the Sanken R4KL diods is toast. Been trying to track one down for a couple of weeks and no one seems to have it, yet.

Special thanks to teckat and ymmtech. You guys were a huge help and thank you for your efforts of posting the pictures of the actual faults.

Will let you know how we fair once we find these things.
