Dude, this is the second time you posting your thread twice.anyway if you don't have install SEND KIT Y1 you need driver for scanning.

Color Network ScanGear is a 32-bit TWAIN-compliant scanner driver that enables computers on a network to use a Canon iR series color digital copier as a scanner.

Also you need software to get scan into computer like acrobat,irfanview....
