[Error Code] Canon 2030i colour copier

I have a newly installed approx 1 month old canon colour ir adv2030i with an internal finisher A1 it will not reset the gripper arm assembly properly either on backwards or forwards movement it makes a juddering noise and stops in the wrong position and so the stapler cant get back to home position and errors out
also occaisonly shows remove jam from output tray although none there and doesnt show this all the time
also does ANYONE KNOW IF I CAN PUT IT INTO LIMITED FUNCTIONS MODE to get the customer going till a solution is found AS THE MC IS DOWN

The Limited Functions Mode for the imageRUNNER Advance Series is found in a special location as opposed to all other imageRUNNER Models.

Please execute the following keystrokes to find Limited Functions Mode.

Settings / Registration> Management Settings > Device Management > Limited Functions Mode

sorrry its a c1 yes doesnt have the a1 additional tray

THE ORIGINAL CODE WAS 532 BUT I PUT THE STAPLER BACK ON ITS TRACK AS I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE ONLY PROBLEM NOW THE GRIPPER UNIT JUDDERS I DONT KNOW THE CODE YET WILL LET YOU KNOW CHEERS

thanks for your help went back tday the customer had had a bad jam and error code e572 002
stripped down the gripper unit and found a chipped gear on the quadrarant gear item 15 on fig m50 in parts manual causing binding and preventing gripper unit getting back to home position
