i had three of these machines come in. i have to that do not look for the finisher and 1 that does not recognize the finisher. on the 1 i have tried 3 different finishers with no luck. any help would be appreciated. also what would be the procedure to have the machine not look for the finisher.

Assuming both devices are powered off, cold start,,, first turn on finisher, then turn on copier from main power switch on right side. Copier should auto discover the finisher. Make sure the coaxial cable is plugged into both devices, and that it has the terminating resistors on the open ports on the t-connectors.
Should be plug and play.
If not, check to make sure the finisher has power inside it..."Once a King, always a King, but once a Knight is enough!"
