    Canon color Image class MF 8180C Error E197

    Hello i have a Canon MF 8180C with this system error e197, i have changed both boards on the machine and am getting the same problem. Can anyone share some information on this machine.

      This problem is usually caused by the power cord in the lower part of the machine being unplugged. Plug the power cord in to the lower part of the machine. At this point, Unplug the power cord from the upper part of the machine from the wall, and plug it back in. This will reset the error.

      Make sure printer is not on power strip

      you could also have a Low voltage power supply problem
