    [Misc] canon ir 6000 not copying

    Dear all

    i got a problom with canon ir 6000, machine gets ready, once i try to make copies, it scan it , then a message appears, waiting to print, plz help,thanks in advance.

    Probably disc issue.

          check to make sure that the fixing connector is not cracked or damaged because this may cause that problem.


          A piece of paper from a jammed copy can become lodged in the back of the fixing/feeder assembly and block the engagement of the connector into the rear frame connector.

            Check your paper source, or the tray that is selected to feed the paper. I had a deck (tray #1) not latching properly due to broken notch on the deck handle. It would say copying and hang in the middle of the job or from beginning of the cycle. Somehow it would read paper present in the tray but not feed. Try to use different tray to feed paper.

              thankyou very much for the responses.i found problom is with the fixing unit, i interchanged from other machine, it works fine, once i find out exact cause i will post it here..thanks again, god bless..

                  i found the prob .is with main thermistor, i got confused bcos heater was getting on ..thanks everyone for the replies , specially to Sir teckat.
