When running paper into finisher bins, the paper will stop at entrance to the punch unit or will stop between buffer rollers and call a 110F jam code.

    Solution :
Take a look at the height sensor PI114 and make sure the sensor bracket is not bent back away from the actuator.

Make sure that when actuator goes thru the sensor it is not too high and is at the correct angle. The image below shows the incorrect position which will give you the 110F jam.

i checked it out and it appeared OK.I swapped around a few sensors and the problem went away.it may have been a bad connection or something

I have only installed 3 of these punch units and not had to go back to any of them yet in the year or so they have been in.

BUT, do they use the same sensors that degridate over time ala the 3-way unit AND internal finishers? Or are they different?

I only ask as swapping yours made it dissapear.
        Yes, I am a nerd.

The ones I swapped were in the finisher C1.The sensors that detect the output trays

Oh man I think I went and checked one of those that had this jam? Was an internal finisher. Other tech took out a piece of white plastic to stop the weird intermittent jam . It looked similar to a small white fork ???
