    Canon irc 3220

    I have a canon 3220 that I got from work, they got tired of it because it keeped showing errors, E000020-0181, E000020-0281, and E000020-0381.
    I would be gratefull if someone would like to share the service manual and the SST with me.

      I stated before, u don't need the SST FOR E020 codes,
      u need a Canon trained tech

          I know that you have stated that before, I have read numerous posts in this forum.
          BUT the drums were all changed one month ago and the error codes are changing from time to time. They are changing from 181 to 183 to 182 and so on. I believe that the SALT sensor is faulty or is in need of cleaning, hence the service manual. The SST is only for my own curiosity. :-)

              Make sure the Salt unit is sitting correctly and not out of position-Check the window of the SALT sensor to see if it is free of dirt.
              COPIER>DISPLAY<DENS>WINDOW-Y, M, C, K
              SALT sensor window dirt coefficient (Y/M/C/Bk). The smaller the value, the dirtier the sensor window.
              Appropriate 50 or higher
              Value is updated when ATR control operation is performed after main power switch ON.
              It is possible the front door plastic door interlock for the SALT sensor shutter is broken or not in place, (see picture below). If the shutter is not actuated by the interlock, the SALT sensor will error out when trying to perform ATR measurement resulting in an E020. Sub codes will be related to yellow ATR measurement since it is the first color laid down on the ITB for ATR measurement.

                  I have checked the things you posted and the values are above 50, the drums have been changed (not the yellow since it was only at 15%).
                  Now when I started it it displays E0602-0003, HDD failure. I ran a check on the disk (1 and 9 pressed at boot) and it got to download mode. I turned it off and on again but only to now have E6002-0002 instead. I did the check again but that didnt help. I understand that my next step is to reload the firmware, correct? But I dont have the SST or the firmware, could someone be a kind sole and share that with me. :-)
