If Dept. ID Management is turned on, before you can delete a Dept. ID, you must know one ID and password to get to Additional Functions.

To delete one or more Dept. IDs, follow the steps below:
    1. Press Additional Functions from the Control Panel.
    2. Select System Settings.
    3. Select Dept. ID Management.
    4. Select Store Dept ID/password.
    5. Select the Dept. ID you want to delete and select Erase.
    6. Select Yes to erase the Dept. ID.
    7. Click Done 3x to return to the main screen.

NOTE: If you do not know one of the Dept. ID and password, you must know the System Manager ID or you can set one up.
If you do not know the System Manager password either, you then can delete the System Mgr password in service mode.

    Try This
Go in SERVICE MODE= Press the user mode key * (ADD FUNCTIONS)
Press numeric keys “2” and “8” simultaneously.
Press the user mode key *
    (ADD FUNCTIONS) again.

    COPIER>FUNCTION<CLEAR>PWD-CLR

Clears “system administrator” password set in user mode.
The password value is cleared after the main power switch is turned OFF/ON.
    Operation
    1) Select this item, then press the OK key.
    method
    2) Turn the main power OFF/ON.

    Perform MMI Clear:
    1) Go into Service Mode level 1.
    2) Hit Copier.
    3) Hit Function.
    4) Hit Clear.
    5) Hit MMI and select OK.
    6) Wait for the OK button to return and reboot the copier.

MMI Clear will remove information pertaining to the Machine User Settings, such as, ID Modes, ID Group, Passwords, Mode Memory, IP Addresses and network settings.
It does not delete address book.
Print out the User Data Lists, P-Print and any other prints that may contain User Settings befor clearing MMI.
