    IRC 3220 frozen.

When I plug the print controller in, then setting new IP then restart the printer, the printer was frozen. What's wrong with this and how to solve? (The problem occured with other printer as well).Thanks.

Does the machine boot up all the way before locking up? If so try doing a MN-CON clear.

If you were installing an Image Pass then try this:

After power on and immediately when the display comes up, enter service mode and select Copier/Option/Int-Face. Select Img-Cont and press 3, press OK and power the machine off then on again. NOTE: Img-Cont will show it's at 3 already but ignore the setting and select it as though it wasn't previously set.
IMPORTANT: If you are not able to enter service mode and change the value before the control panel locks up you will not be successfull in clearing the lock up. In this case see secondary procedure below.
SECONDARY PROCEDURE: Power off the machine and remove the upper back cover and the cover to the Main Controller pcb. Remove the Open Interface pcb (located under the NIC card). Temporarily install the Main Controller fan so you don't get an error code and turn the power on. When the display comes up enter service mode and select Copier/Option/Int-Face. Select Img-Cont and press 3, press OK. Power the machine off then reinstall the Open Interface pcb, Main Controller pcb cover, and back cover. Power the machine back on.
