    Canon ir 2016 "scanning" error

    Hy guys

    After paper jamming in Canon iR2016 I removed all peace of jammed paper, when I switched on it made all test and ready to use , but when i pressed ready botton to make copy , it gives a message ( scanning) but the scanner never moves , no any keys respond . Plse help

    I believe some copiers pre-feed paper to the registration area before starting the scanning process. If you still have a paper feed problem, that may be the symptom you are experiencing. Try running a report from the engine in service mode, this eliminates the scanner all together, and then you can concentrate on the paper feed mechanism's...

      Still not fixed. Maybe some peace of paper still inside?

        Have you done as I asked yet? Trying to print from the service mode instead of the document scanner will help pin down a possible paper feed problem...

          At service center said me to change FM2-4053-000 Image processor PCB assembly board. Is it can so easy to broke?

            As I understand well, you are an operator, you called the service, and the technician said, he had to change the image processor pcb to solve the problem, and you don't believe in it? Or you are a technician???
