    Hey guys, not sure how this got changed but the LCC is showing A4 and I'm not sure where to change back. All other cassettes show LTR.

    There is a small toggle built into the paper size dial assembly. Look at that assembly on one that registers correctly and compare it to the errant cassette, you will see that lever in the wrong position I believe...

      LCC = Large Capacity Cassette???

      If it's the cassette then follow MrFixit's instructions.

      If you mean the paper deck:
      Copier-> Option-> ACC-> DK-P set it to 2

      Was this after a DC-Con clear? I have to look this up every other time I do a a DC-Con clear.

        I think this is on the IR B/W series....ie 4570 and lower.
        If it is for the side paper deck then the solution from DLP should work just fine

          Cassette Dial knob.jpg

          For Cassettes>>>

          Check this cassette dial position
          /

          also pull out cassette in question-remove paper-turn cassette upside down and shake it- if u see any small white gears fall out- u need a new cassette / those paper width slide adjustment gears break of small plastic posts

            For DECK
            To change the paper size registered on the copier for the Side Paper Deck:
            1. Enter Service Mode by pressing Additional Functions, 2 and 8 simultaneously, and then Additional Functions.
            2. Select COPIER.
            3. Press the OPTION tab.
            4. Select ACC.
            5. Highlight the setting DK-P and change its value (0-2) to match your desired paper size.
            DK-P Value
            Paper size
            0 -A4
            1 -B5
            2 -Letter

            6. -Hit OK.

              AB/Inch switch,,, this is what determines the correct setup for paper types. As I stated, it is on the side of dial assembly as pictured by Teckat. Switched one way it sets up for Inch sizes, as used in the U.S. and switched the other way, shows A and B sizes for paper, as used outside the U.S.

                the picture that teckat posted is on B/W 4570 series. The IRC-5180 series has the slide adjustment on the left hand side of the cassette and no other switch. That is bad info for his question

                            Had some CQ issues turned out to be the transfer belt. Interface is plugged in but not working. Is there a way to initialize the sensor?

                              The input voltages from the imageRUNNER to the Paper Deck Controller at J3, pin 1 measures 5 VDC, and J3, pin 2 measures 24 VDC. Proper voltage needs to be supplied to the Paper Deck Controller.
                              Try e-seating the communication cable at J485 on the Pedestal Controller
