Canon ir 2200/scan board

HI,
Customer asking me to get scan optional kit for machine. Can anyone tell me what is involved to add scan option ,part number of kit,and Do I need to go thru canon to get any Keycodes before it can be used? Is it difficult to install and Where can I get one from?
I know Im asking a lot of questions but as is obvious,This is my first time dealing with this option.

you cannot install universal send on the IR-2200 series machine. You do have the option of using network scangear and scanning that way with this device. There are plenty of threads with the information you need about NWSG and how to use/configure it.

you will need a multi-pdl kit in order to connect the device to the network if it isn't already
