    No network response on ImagePass M3

    A customer of mine bought a used ImageRunner 105+ with an ImagePass M3 print controller. I have used similar Canon's elsewhere but not with the ImagePass print controller. Problem is I can't get a network response from it. From the front panel, I can print out configuration. Shows a statically assigned address, configure laptop to that network and both are plugged into a switch (can't plug it in to the live network since it has the same address as there database server.) No ping, No web, nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

    1. Enter Service mode (Additional Functions > 2 and 8 > Additional Functions).
    2. Select Copier > Option > Int-Face > IMG-CONT.
    3. Change the setting of IMG-CONT to "4"
    4. Hit OK and reboot the copier.
    When the IMG-CONT value is set to any number other then a 0;
    the network settings must be configured on Fiery device setup.

    Check the ImageRUNNER that's connected to the imagePASS for IP restrictions and permissions. If you have enabled either one of these function on the IamgeRUNNER it will prevent the ImagePASS from working.
    To check these setting you go into additional functions, system settings, network settings, IP settings. If either one is enabled disable them and try printing or pinging the ImagePASS again

    imagePASS M3 Normal Boot Sequence of the imagePASS M3
    When you turn on or reboot the imagePASS M3 the system runs through the following start up routine on the control panel. This routine takes approximately 2-5 minutes to reach the Idle screen.
