    Constant jamming on an Ir2016

Hello friends, i have an Ir2016 thats jamming constantly in the pickup area / registration. The pickup rollers are fine and the sensors are not broken. I have changed the pickup rollers and it;s still jamming. Have anyone experinced jamming problems with this machine?
Also how do you change the default paper size in service mode? on the other Ir machines you go to service mode options and select 1, 2, or 3.
    Thanks much in advance.

WHAT ARE THE JAM CODES ?????

is jam issue when printing/ or copying-or both ?
what trays have the issue/ what paper sizes have issues >??

Default to what paper size/or default to a tray ?

Try removing the torque limiters on the separation rollers. Once the torque limiter is removed fit the sep roller back on. I've found this works well on this range of machines. The sep roller isn't required to separate the sheets as the corner separators in the cassette tray does this job. So, just leave the roller on to guide the paper through. End of problem, happy days.

If the paper is getting out the cassette, then 9 times out of 10 on these machines its the vertical path roller.
Change that first before doing anything else as its only a 10 min job.

In my experience some iR2016-2020 could have a faulty cassette feed clutch (CL202, FK2-1068 ).
It can cause different types of jams, and the machine can complain about not proper paper size.
The clutch became hot, and could slip.
The fastest way to identify this problem to draw out the cassette1, put in your arm, cheat the paper type sensor and the paper sensor, and push the start button. If you can slow down the pick up roller with your hand, you must to change the clutch.

i fix many of those in ir1600 and ir2000 after changing a pickup solenoid otherwise it will keep jamming even u changed every rollers in cassette unit. Borsody75 got a point too.
