Has anyone figure out a way to make a copier faster. For example a Canon iR2200 is the same as the iR3300, they only change the speed.

I really don't understand why would Canon make a copier slower than others if they the potential to be faster, is it just dough $$$?.... I am disappointed .

Different models have different cost giving the customer different options when leasing or buying a machine. If you swap SN and counter boards from a 3300 and put them in a 2200 your machine will then run 33 ppm.

Company need to offer copier on the market with different speeds and it's cheaper to make a machine in one line with the same parts, but only cheap parts make machine slow or fast.
