    ir7200 scan

hi, currently the machine working fine with network printing but it cannot detect the ir7200 ip adress when using network scangear tool v1.5e, 1.6 and 2.0e. Is there anything i miss out to install in order to use scanning from computer? N bootrom install and ir7200N firmware loaded.

Check for a firewall blocking it.
You can also input the scanner ip address directly into the scangear tool instead of searching.

Scangear needs the device to be on the same subnet to work.

Also, is the "scan" tab showing at the copier control panel?

                "scan" tab is showing
                COPIER>OPTION>USER>NW-SCAN is in value "1"
subnet mask is same with router
I put scanner "online" and erase domain name on machine and using network scangear v2.21, it work
im thinking of may be because i didnt go to "scan" tab and press "online" that why computer cant find the machine ip?
or the domain name exist on copier machine while the computers are not using domain?

No Mac scanning - Windows only.

The copier does not need to be online for Network Scangear to find the machine and get set up, only when you actually go to do a scan.

Black and white imageRUNNERs require Network Scangear, and color machines require Color Network Scangear; they are not interchangeable..

Also, "Enable Dedicated Port" must be set to "On" for scanning to work - this one gets overlooked a lot.
