It is working but there are lines on the copies. Just want to know if there is a way I can clean it without calling a tech.

Could be anything from that description.
Can u describe the lines better? Are they a clean and straight line? Do they run the entire length of the page? Exactly how are you using the machine when the lines appear?

I am making copies. The lines seem to be disappearing now. I added toner. The lines are not on the whole document but maybe at the top and the bottom. They are not straight lines. They have missing parts on the lines.

try to make black copies. it helps to determine what is wrong for example if the line is white then try to clean the corona.
