[Error Code] Cannon IR2010F code E100

Copier donated by local business to be refurb'ed and sold to fund program (Donate Your Machine) that refubs computers for local students who don't have one (via Flagler County Education Foundation).
Problem is that I've only mucked about in Xerox machines. Outside of clearing jams and changing the toner Cannon is outside of my skill set. We've cleaned the machine, fixed the multiple paper jams it came with, but the error code is here to stay.
I'm thinking it is a drum issue - there is a crack in one of the arms that hold the drum - looks like someone was overzealous when they last fiddled with it.
If anyone here knows what the code indicates - the info will be appreciated.
If you can point me in the right direction for parts(sure I'll need to replace the cracked piece) I'd appreciate that as well.
Have a blessed day wherever you may be .

E100 on that model actually refers to no recieving the BD signal from the laser, but you may be on the right track by looking at the DRUM installation. The code can be caused by the drum not being installed correctly.

this is the tab that breaks off, it pushes the laser shutter actuator to open it, E100 if this is broke off, happens fairly often.
