IR C-4080: how to get % of usage reports

Hi!

We're looking at buying a used IRC4080 which seems to be in good condition but we would like to know what we're getting. I couldn't find any way to get to a screen on the UI that would tell us how much life is left on developer, drums, etc. The operator's manual was no help.

I tried "Log In/Out" button but it had no effect. Also, this machine is no longer hooked to a network to access via a browser.

Any thoughts will be appreciated. I'm off to browse this forum for more information.

If you look in service mode - "misc" ===> "display", it will give you the % of the oem drum life (40k). Usually you will get at least 2-300% before it needs to be replaced in a normal business-color environment.

How do you enter the service mode?

I'd love to check that but I don't know how to enter the service mode. Is there a key/button combination?

u don't have to go in service mode to view DRUM & TONER % USAGE

on control panel
1)Go to System Monitor button on the Display Screen {control panel}

2)Press Consumables button
3)Remaining Drum Life is displayed for all 4 drum units(in bar-graphics form)
NOTE: DLIFE-SW must be a "1"(COPIER>OPTION 1>BODY>DLIFE-SW)to see this feature.



also under> Additional Functions>System Settings>Display Remaining Toner Error Message > select *On to display , or Off



Percentage Form/be careful in SERVICE MODE-U can cause major issues in there if u don't have any knowledge of it.
Go into service mode press {additional functions*key} press 2&8 together press{additional functions*key}select>COPIER>DISPLAY>MISC> shows Drum % used
Y-DRUM-LF %
M-DRUM-LF %
C-DRUM-LF %
K-DRUM-LF %
