    IR- 3750 connectivity

    Have a customer who is using Vontage. They want fax to email , print and scan installed. Will all these features work with Vontage. Thanks for all replys.

    Do you mean Vonage? Do you mean IR 3570?

      NOT recommend on trying to fax using VoIP
      **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

            Thats what I thought. I concurr with tekcat and zoraldinho. It will probably work with voip but not recommended.

              Print and scan will work fine since Vonage has nothing to do with those. I agree with the majority here and yes it will work but is not recommended. Meaning, don't have high expectations, there will be intermittent problems with it. Turning off ECM is the only thing I found that is helps some with VOIP.

                I completely agree.

                Faxing using VoIP doesn't seem to work well (if at all) with any MFP, regardless of brand.

                While a wonderful concept, the technology just isn't there yet.

                  To toss in my 2 cents worth here,, if you do go with faxing over VOIP, have your customer contact Vonage first concerning faxing issues, instead of calling the copier service person. The line quality issues are not the responsibility of the copier service person...
