    [Error Code] Error E 20- 00xx in iR A C 20xx series.

    Hi,

We have discussed enough about this error code, but there seems to be no permanent solution for this . We clean the Black hopper sensor & the machine works 1000 - 2000
    copies& the problem repeats again.

Can some body suggest a permanant solution for this & why this is happening only for Black hopper .

I feel this a bad design by canon.

      I agree
I have had to change black hoppers on 7/9000 series too. New ones have to be modified before installation, to prevent a bushing from popping out.
50xx series hoppers act up also.

          know how u feel,

this is just a reminder to all untrained future IRADC installers_

Make sure to follow the exact installation procedure as posted by CANON on these new ADVANCED models
          .

Word on the street here is that a modified hopper is en route.

I also believe its only <5% of the MIF that is effected ( here any way ) but for those 5% there is no definitive field fix. Any of ours that do have the issue are "on going".
