CANON C7055I vs XEROXDC250

Hi

I am currently setting up a print copy shop and i need some advice.

I have a Xerox DC250 with 300000 clicks to its name on offer with a full 5 year service plan vs a brand new CANON C7055I

From the demo's the Xerox still produces better quality work and seems for durable for running 300gsm stock which is 70% of our work demand.

Any advise will be much appreciated in which way to go.

the 7055 is not a production machine and if you run 70% 300 gsm you are going to be very frustrated. I am not sure that the xerox can handle that work load either, but you need to be upfront with your sales rep about what you will be running on those machines. Take your monthly volume and multiply it out by that 5 years running that 300 gsm stock out of the stack bypass on that Xerox is going to be very slow.

personally I would go with IRA-9075 with the POD deck lite A1 so you could load more than 50 sheets at time.
if budget wasn't an issue I would purchase and Image Press 6000.
