    Serial Number

    Hi guys

Can I discover the manufacture date of the machine with the serial number? How can I "read" the serial number?

    Thanks

The Serial number and Manuf.date is on machine Back plate / usually a small silver plate

if it is missing , someone is playing games

        Nice question !

I was thinking of this one day.
It would be nice if there was a web site where you just pop the serial of the machine and it shows all the other data

              ,
don't know about your Country , it is illegal in USA to sell a unit without that plate.

                Hi Teckat!

In Europe, and I have never seen dates on the Back Plates.

I am standing nearby a brand new Image Runner Color2020i.

I am attaching a foto of its small silver plate:

What does this do? I went into it, and had no idea where to go next. I've never seen this in the manuals before. Is this for factory settings?
