Do a quick auto grad adjustment. Not a full one but the quick one. I have resolved many with this adjustment
Help, please!
My X-axis, left to right, appears to be OK. My Y-axis is shifted differently for each color. Cyan si down 1/64th inch; yellow is down 1/8th inch, and red is down almost 1/8th inch. The images are 'shadowed'. On the ColorCal Measurement Page, even the black squares are down 1/64th inch except for the top, or right-hand row of 16 gradients which are perfectly lined up.
My service manuals have not arrived.
Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Also, where is the ITB folks are suggesting I replace? The machine arrived in a wrapper, used, and printed ONE copy decently, then shadowed everything since.
Original Canon PS Test Page from machine memory is also shadowed, so futher copying exacerbates the problem.
B&W copies appear to be OK. Color gives me problems.

What you described sounds like the lasers need to be Homed. I don't have the procedure, but maybe one of these fine fellows might be able to shoot it your way.
look at test print 6,
if grid is ok towards rear, and off towards front, then it is a laser problem.
i have seen many that were itb belt assy related, only one that was laser related.
the homing for the laser does not move laser image left to right, it adj laser skew from front to rear.
on test print 6, if lead to trail lines are ok, but front to rear are off, then it is belt assy.
if front to rear is ok on rear side, and you see angle on lines that get worse towards front, then it is laser.
also, if u run a test print 6, then remove cleaning blade, and run test print 6 again, if 2nd test print is better what u did was remove friction, proving it is a belt issue.
when u get in front of machine, call me and i wil try to walk u thru .
