Howdy,
Fortunately, this isn't a fire drill...yet.
I have an iR150 customer who has started replacing Windows XP workstations with Windows 7 machines; so far all are 32 bit.
The SCS has version 6.00 System Software.
The only driver that supports Windows 7 is version 8.0, both PS and PCL.
This driver installs fine, but we can't access any finishing: duplex, stapling, and output destination commands all get ignored.
I tried printing to file to see if the KDK commands were correct, and sho' 'nuff, the finishing and output commands were not there.
This means that the System Software is off the hook; the issue is between the driver and Windows 7.
This is a domain environment, but the users have full admin rights to their own PCs, and print directly to their printers.
Both the PCL and PS drivers have the same issue.
Has anyone seen this? I'm sure that this can't be the first time. (Our help desk has not called me back yet with the resolution they were researching.)
Gracias!
