[Misc] iR2022i - Email scanning problem

    Hi,

I have a weird problem with this machine.
I can scan email no problem, but as long as I change the resolution to 600X600 it will fail.
It's not because of the size.
    Anybody been through this before?
    Please help. Thanks so much.

Color Network Scangear only supports 300 x 300 scanning on this device.

I'm using push scan, not pull scan.
There is 600*600 option on the scan, so it should support, isn't it?

        B & W only at 600x600 dpi

        • If you select the Color mode and select JPEG as the file format, you can select 100 x 100
        dpi, 150 x 150 dpi, 200 x 100 dpi, or 300 x 300 dpi as the resolution.
        • If you select the Color mode and select PDF (Compact) as the file format, 300 x 300 dpi
        is available as the resolution.
        • If you select the B&W mode, you can select TIFF or PDF as the file format, and
        150 x 150 dpi, 200 x 100 dpi, 200 x 200 dpi, 200 x 400 dpi, 300 x 300 dpi, 400 x 400 dpi,
or 600 x 600 dpi as the resolution.

The maximum size of an image that you can send at a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi is 11" x 17". If the image exceeds this size, it may be cut off.
        • If you send a long original at a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, the periphery of the original image may be cut off slightly.

Thank you so much for replying.
My machine has got no color scanning.
It's just that the machine cannot send 600X600 dpi, it will fail. I have tried using other email provider that is ok at other machine, and it will still fail at this machine.

I believe you are mistaken, while the copier can only produce black and white copies it can scan in color, as listed in the Service Guide excerpt below:

electronically stores scanned hardcopy originals as color/black-and-white files. It allows users to send these files to one or multiple destinations in a single operation. Destinations can be e-mail addresses, Internet fax numbers, file servers, shared network folders, and device inboxes.

The problem has been solved by this post. Apologies, I have mixed up my machine models.
It's just that customer insisted that previously the machine is able to scan Color in 600X600 dpi. Should have clarified my specs properly before I turn the whole world around. Thank you very much guys for the effort to help this newbie... Appreciate!!!
