Reset counter ir5000 - 8500

can i reset a counter my canon ir 5000?
if can, how it procedure ?

i often get e 254 -255 or e 355-354...

i flash with my SST, it's disappear, but tomorrow
when i turn on my machine the error come again...

I had the error on an ir5000 and had to replace the counter pcb. This fixed the error and reset the counter to 0.

I had to contact Canon to get the counter pcb, as this is a controlled part (because it zero's the meter) Don't know the price.

when i put on the memory counter Pcb on the other machines, its working..
and then i put on to the original machine its working to but the counter is change.. to 04230778.. its to high then before....

counter pcb worked on other machines..it shouldn't..matched to main controller..yes it is a controlled part..reseat the ram on the machine along with counter pcb...meter went that high?wow..probably read main controller on other machines

This machine and the 3300 will run but not count if the counter is not seated properly.
When you reseat it the counter will catch up to the correct count.

you mean if i put the counter ir5000 on ir3300 then the counter will be count on main control ir3300?

somebody set the counter to +-500000,
when i looking for the soft counter
*28* - copier - counter - total counter +-3000000..
where is the right counter...
