[Error Code] e 532 fin z1

good day! I'm getting this error code with 2 finishers-same machine. A tech had replaced an broken upper guide causing jams. Then this error code. The copier will boot up and will recognize the finisher, it's status (door open or close). The subcode is 8001. The relay connector has taken some abuse.

I'm wondering if anybody has been through some of these errors or symptoms. I'm going to try a newer relay cable, but I'm wondering if the aux pow supply may be dinged up also.
Any insight or suggestions would be greatly apprerciated. Thanks!

Check the spring for the stapler home position sensor flag

My guess is it is of the same series as an iRC2880 (from z1) - as he said, stapler error. Make sure its' movement is right and (since it was removed and reinstalled) make sure all the connectors are in the right place. Since it is happening on the same machine with 2 different finishers, I would look to make sure it was installed right as the chances of both units having the same issue are long. When all else fails, take it back out and reinstall using the guide.
