Canon IR 2200 Printer Kit Help

Hey there, I just got a ImageRunner 2200, and big surprise, parallel port with no printer function. Awesome!
I understand that I need the upgrade and as usual, its a ram upgrade + ethernet port card. What I do not know its the correct part # (If there is one) and the actual name of the part.
I found one on ebay that's called "AZ"?
Here's the image of the ethernet board:

If I do find the correct part, do I need a firmware upgrade? If so, is it included with the part with some sort of program? Thank you.

P.S. Can I upgrade this machine to cut off limbs?

    thats just the NIC
you need the NIC Boot Rom and software upgrade
    better off calling a technician

and the parallel port is never a print port on Canon Ir's
    its how you upgrade firmware

Oh no, I do not call techs... ever. I do everything myself! D: Doing copiers is the next big thing. I'm looking at this more like a hobby... oh well, I understand that I need the SST tool which is super duper hard to get, and for the price of the upgrade I do not think it's worth it at all. I'll just print and copy whatever I need to do. Thank you for such quick responses.

p.s. what's that little card on the side called? Looks like ram... what does it do?

So you never call a tech ever. Then what gives you the right to ask for a technicians help and knowledge. It's called being a selfish end user. So figure it out yourself. Knowledge costs so pay or figure it out yourself. This isn't a hobby it's how I feed my kids

F.Y.I. the parallel port on this copier will support printing once the print kit is installed, and parallel printing is configured as ON in the setup...

Whilst the parallel port will support printing once you've applied the N firmware, you can only do scanning over the network, so it is worth getting the NIC if you can. Pull scanning using Canon Network ScanGear (not the colour version as this copier is B&W) is a useful feature.

No offense bro. If you know that you can do the job, and you have the time, will you do it to save yourself some money? I'd guess you understand more than most people especially since you have kids. Wouldn't you rather save the extra bucks for your family?
