Believe U need a Product key from U SEND KIT
        UNIVERSAL SEND INSTALL.pdf

        Product Key.JPG

The Send function enables you to send scanned image or document data to file
servers, or send it by e-mail or I-fax. A variety of file formats are supported (PDF,
TIFF, and JPEG), which offer you greater flexibility in accommodating digital
        workplace environments.
You can transmit documents in both color and black-and-white. However, you can receive and send I-fax documents only in black-and-white
        .
*The optional Color Universal Send Kit and
        Resolution Switching Board are required
        . Also,
the optional Color Image Reader-C1 (standard equipment on the Color imageRUNNER C3220 Copier model) must be attached.

        ***************************

A simple way to verify that a Resolution Switching Board (Send Board) is installed in the imageRunner is to check in Service Mode. *28* > Copier > Display > ACC-STS > SEND
SEND will indicate "0" if NO Resolution Switching Board in installed
SEND will indicate "1" if the Resolution Switching Board is installed

        imageRUNNER C3200 / C3100 / C3220 / C5800 / C6800
A Resolution Switching Board is required to use the Color Universal Send Kit or G3 Fax Board M1.

To identify if the Resolution Switching Board is installed, and installed correctly, first look at the board slot covers on the cage unit at the back of the imagerunner. The Resolution Switching Board is NOT installed if the second cover from the bottom has two bumps (nipples) diagonally across from each other. If the plate surface is flat, the board is installed.

Next, check that the board is installed correctly. Remove the back cover of the Color imageRUNNER copier.
Once the back cover is removed, the metal plate has to be unscrewed.
Note: When removing the metal plate, be careful not to break the fan wire and not to damage the power supply.

The Resolution Switching Board is pictured Below. It is installed in the second PCI slot from the bottom. Re-seat the board to refresh the connections. WARNING: Power off the imageRUNNER before disconnecting any electrical components.

To add to this discussion, the "dongle" shown in Teckats posting becomes serialized to the copier it is first installed to. It is a one time deal, and can only re-install the feature on the copier it was first used to setup U-send on. It will not work on another copier...

Now, There are some data showed as follows

                CARD - 1 = Card Reader
NETWARE - 1 = How to apply this function
                SEND - 1
                NIB - 1

                1. If this machine has universal send kit installed, what information will be showed on the display.
                2. I found this machine has send log showed many " Scan To xxxxxx " What is means, if it had universal scan function before and how can I delet this data log for owner protection.

                Thanks

Why didn't you say that u had an iamagePass Fiery connected in the first place ????

imagePass connected needs to have the IMG-CONT set to "3"

When the following password is input, you can enter a setup screen.

                      4) Select [close] on the Settings menu. In response, the system will restart automatically.

Print out a test page and a settings page as follows to make sure that all settings have correctly been made on the machine and its host machine and that all connections
                      are normal:
                      1) Press (=>) displayed at upper right on the LCD of the connecting device.

                        Hi tackat, thanks for reply

This IRC 3200N is a used copier bought from bankrupt company, I don't know what it had been connected anything before. At this moment, The machine has NO Fiery connected. Nothing attached on back side. The IMG-CONT set to 0. After receiving you reply, I tried to change this setting to 3 and found => on upper right. but only show the following massage " Checking the power source of the print server behind the main unit and cable connection if display does not chang in a moment " We don't have any password with this machine.

I am not sure this machine can e-mail or not. fax, scan and printing are OK.

                          u first posted for a 3220, now u say a 3200N ??????

                          u have a 3200N
                          - IMG-CONT needs to be set to "0"
So u have a Multi-Pdl kit installed -which has the N Boot Rom

looks like u have the Resolution Board installed - with SEND at "1"

Press the Counter Check button, then hit 'Device Configuration'. If the printer kit is installed, it will be displayed here (ex. UFRII/PCL Printer Kit).

                          are u a tech ?????
