How to clear out the message Default Key is Corrupt
    1. Enter service mode * 2 8 * > * 2, to get in level 2
    2. Copier > Function > Clear > highlight CA Key - press OK.
    3. Power copier off, then back on - Default Key is Corrupt message should clear.

ok, i did that, but I still not print in this machine, do you know if this king of copier only printing with the license that you need to buy to CANON DEALER, or I have a imagepass S2, but i can not connect because the video cable is necesary, i don,t see the board to connect to the copier, the customer have 15 days using the machine and no pay me until the copier can print, it is too hard, i need to resolve the problem for all forms, I made a clone of HDD of other machine that was printing, but nothing happens, I think maybe the license was in the HDD. But no work, i am going to reload the system software with the last version today.

You need to know if the copier has a license installed already to print without the imagepass. Bring up the counter screen and press the device configuration tab on the screen, if you have printing option installed, there will be a version number listed for that option...

Go to Network Settings > TCP/IP settings > Certificate Settings > CA Certificate List. Highlight the key and press erase.

            From old Canon support ticket>>>>

            To repair a damaged CA that won't clear;
Start the iR in fixed IP mode.
Using the SST, install the CA key by using the "single" or manual download mode of SST. Select CA Key and overwrite. Conversely, you could do a batch (non-HDF) with forced overwrite. In the lower left of the SST, you will see a box labeled "Confirm Firmware Versions", select "Overwrite". If you haven't already, this might be a good time to install the latest version of system software

what is the Firmware version on your printer ?

Do you have an imagePass S2 installed on Printer ???

In the following versions, the "Network Settings>Change Settings/Display Connection Confirm" is
"ON” the key is not corrupted before shipment from Canon. However, if the registered key is
corrupted, “The Default Key is corrupted or invalid.” Message is displayed.
            - imageRUNNER 2270/3570 series: v32.02 or later
            - imageRUNNER 8070/9070/105+ series: v10.40 or later
            - imageRUNNER 5570/6570 series: v10.45 or later

When upgrading from an old version which the key is corrupted to the new version which the key is not corrupted (see below), “The Default Key is corrupted or invalid.” might be displayed (since the key remains as corrupted.)

            Service Mode Level 2 > COPIER > FUNCTION > CLEAR > CAKEY

In some case although the above procedure was followed, “The Default Key is corrupted or invalid.” message is still displayed.

            Please perform the following procedure.

            1. Install the key and the CA certificate using Service Support Tool.
            2. Turn the main power OFF and ON.
            3. Clear CAKEY. (Service Mode Level 2 > COPIER > FUNCTION> CLEAR > CAKEY)
            4. Turn the main power OFF and ON.
            * After this procedure is performed the key and the CA certificate will be set to the default values.

If MN-CON in Service mode (Service mode > COPIER > FUNCTION > CLEAR > MN-CON) was cleared,
the key will be corrupted and sometimes the CA certificate cannot be used. This problem can be solved by:
            1. Clearing CAKEY in Service Mode (Service mode Level 2 > COPIER > FUNCTION >CLEAR >CAKEY.
            2. Turn the main power OFF and ON.)
            * After this procedure is performed the key and the CA certificate will be set to the default values.

Canon iR5075 for printing function you need a license key. These license key is not registered in your HDD that's why you still can't print if you change your HDD. The license key is registered in the serial number of the machine. It will print if you have the license even if your Boot rom is C.

At the panel ass'y go to "counter check" and at the display go to "system configuration" under the software option if you see there is PS/PCL means your unit have the license already. Your machine will able to print.
