[Misc] Canon IR 3100c very low quality copies

    Hi everyone,
I have a canon ir3100c photocopier. I had issues with error code E000020-0081 yesterday and it has been resolved yesterday itself. however now photocopy clarity is not good. The paper comes out with several lines in it especially in the color copies. I have cleared the waste toner and have cleaned the censor of the cartridges. still the copies are of very low quality. any help in this regard will be very much appreciated.

run a PG-10 to see what your developer quality is looking like. More than likely one of or all of them is in need of replacement and if your drum has more than 40K on it go ahead and replace it.

don't forget to run the autogradation!!!
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

      an add to charm5496's response>>>

      E-020 sub code 0081

Check the P-SEN-P reading in service mode Copier / Display / Dens / P-SEN-P. If value is less than 255 then go to service mode level two Copier / Display / Dens / P-LED-DA if reading is 90 or above then patch sensor is dirty or scratched. If reading is below 90 then drum unit is bad.

+ post a copy of your CQ issue
