When a communication error occurs between the Fixing Feed PCB (Fixing Driver PCB, Feed Driver PCB) and the DC Controller PCB.

U can try to remove and re-seat DC connectors

before replacing DC PCB>>>>try and re-flash firmware-
I have had success & other techs I know with re-flashing the C1
    on a few occasions .

see updated error pub. for C1>>TP09.pdf

thanks for the help - I checked and reseated the connectors of the board - no avail - then called for service - they started searching for faulty wires in the fuser area - finally found a wire rubbing under the fuser belt but no arcing - he "reformed" wire to clear belt and the error went away - just wanted to add this to your massive knowledge base.

One more update -About 100 clicks later the same error code came back - now the response is maybe the wire wasn't rubbing - maybe its a board or the harness - we'll get back to you - how do you retract the "atta boy"? Once more down machine in search of advice and help.

Try and have the tech re-flash the Firmware/ if tech has it loaded on a USB stick / and if it is same ver. firmware on printer all u need to do is select Overwrite on screen

or from Laptop u just re-load in download mode
