That lower Cassette feeding unit supplies power to all those options /
there is an inter face square plug/ that goes from unit to printer/ unscrew cover on cable/ look inside to see if the two small connectors are seated in place/make sure that cable has no damage

Check for 24VDC at connector J486 pin 2 on the Pedestal Controller PCB.

It just dawned on me... DOH!!!!!!

If the power cord is not plugged into the proper place, only the main body gets power, and all accessories do not! I believe you place the power cord into the pedestal/paper feed unit, and the short plug from the pedestal unit into the copier main body...

I believe that accesory power plug needs to go into the middle of the three outlets down there on the pedastal. Good observation Mrfixit51!!!

I recall shooting myself in the foot on that on once, many moons ago. It seem that is how I learn a lot of life's lessons :-)

I replied to this problem once before, and posted a picture of the rear of one of my machines that was properly configured. Searching for that picture was not rewarded with the rediscovery of that image this time. I have so few of these left in the field, they were my favorite color machine...
