    [Jamming] clc4000 paper jam

I keep getting the message to clear the paper jam from the transfer belt, there is nothing there, any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks Ron

what about the Jam Codes/ look in service mode to view/ then post/

u probably need to pull out the Registration/RE-Pick up unit/
move it to a table location/ get a can of air and blow out all the sensors in between the guide plates/ u probably have a ton of paper dust in there/ next clean the Reg Rollers off with a damp cloth
    /

unit is notorious for false codes because of that paper dust build-up sensor faces/click on picks for better view

also clean /OR REPLACE the Transfer bed Sensors/even when the look good/ they are notorious for false jams/ sensor interior fills in with dirt

Also the Plastic sensor flag edges
wear a flat spot on top from paper/ causes false and real time jams / paper weight does not push down far enough on flag to actuate the sensor

was there any paper in the machine when you cleared the jam? The machine might not know where the paper is and therefore is making you check to make sure that area is clear of jammed paper.

what type of job are you running and what source are you feeding the paper out of?

I also remember having issues with the sensor flags that Teckat mentioned above where they would get stuck and cause a stationary jam.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.
