IR1022if - email issue

Hi,
Have an ir1022if which will email black and white pages perfectly fine, but if you try email a colour document from the copier, it just sits there forever transmitting. Never errors and never leaves the copier.

Have done firmware, all-clear, swapped another 1022 into the business and works perfect, took theirs back to our office and same issue using our email server, etc.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?? lol

The default send settings are changed by pressing:

Additional Functions > Communication Settings > Common Settings > TX Settings > Change Send Func. Mode > Register > Color/File Format Setting

This configuration setting is not accessible using the device's Remote User Interface (RUI).


To send in Color to an email address or file server select PDF (compact) or JPEG as the file format.
*NOTE - If sending to a File Server (FTP) or (SMB) you need to select Email (B&W) or E-mail (Color)

NOTE: If you are sending to a file server (SMB or FTP) and did not select a sending method , your only file formats available will be TIFF and PDF for B&W sending.

E-mail (Color): JPEG or PDF (Compact)
If PDF Compact is selected as the file format only 300x300 dpi can be selected for sending.
