    IR 5570 E 824

Ok, the wire leads got yanked out of the primary cover with fan. So now I am left with three little short wires coming from the copier. And , yes they are all the same color.

So I am trying to resolder the wires to a new connector I harvested of of a parts machine. It is so cramped in there I can't work. Is it posible to remove the toner hopper/holder to get back up on the harness a little more?

Second question is how to use a meter to identifie the right leads to reconnect the connector.

    Thanks,

the wires run to the left. so remove the plastic cover on that side (above the fuser area). Those wires run to another connector behind that plastic cover.
Have your new connector sitting with wires pointing AWAY from you
Now whichever wire is on the left in that connector will be on the left for your new connector, same for middle and right.
If you use the wrong combination main or dc controller will blow.
Hope I was able to explain ok

check resistance (continuity) - to make sure wire is inserted in proper connector location
